Our Mission

At Charity Finds, we believe technology is most powerful when it is pointed at the things that matter most — the planet we share, the communities we belong to, the people who fall through the cracks, and the charities quietly holding them together.

Six Sustainable Development Goals.
One future worth fighting for.

Climate action. Responsible consumption. No poverty. Sustainable communities. Decent work. Innovation that serves people. These are not separate ambitions. They are one vision, seen from six different angles — and Charity Finds sits at the centre of all of them.

Climate Action (SDG 13)

Every single pre-loved purchase is a manufacturing emission that never happens. One t-shirt saved from landfill prevents approximately 7kg of CO₂. A winter coat, 50kg. A pair of jeans, 30kg. Multiplied across thousands of transactions, across hundreds of charity shops, across an entire national platform — the numbers stop being abstract and start being meaningful.

Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)

Production and Consumption doesn't have to be wasteful. We are making responsible consumption a daily habit, available to everyone, powered by the charity shops that have quietly been doing this work for decades — now finally equipped to do it at scale.

No Poverty (SDG 1)

At such a time as this where resources of time and money are limited, we are building a world where people don't have to spend so much time moving from shop to shop to find the exact items they desire. They can now shop affordably while spending time with those they love.

Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11)

We are working to prevent the closures of charity shops that stand as community hubs. By generating digital revenue that supports physical shops, we are keeping the doors open — and keeping the communities that depend on them intact. Our platform does not replace the high street. It funds it.

Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8)

We are giving volunteers at charity shops something no other platform has offered: real, transferable digital skills. Photography. Product listing. E-commerce operations. Data management. Skills that are valued in every sector, acquired in an environment that is patient, purposeful, and human.

Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9)

We built this platform because this sector's need for innovation was undeniable, too noticeable to look away, and because we believed — stubbornly, completely — that technology could be a force for good if pointed in the right direction.

We are building a better world.
